716 Exclusive Mix – Alpàr : August 10th

Alpar is an Hungarian producer from Budapest, specialized in Ambient, Experimental, Illbient, Acid music. After a few appearences on compilations starting in 2012 (S*10 x Mashkulture.Net Mix Vol. 1 on the Hungarian label S*10, Railroads in juxtaposition on the Canadian Electric Voice Records), he released the Split album “Split” with two fellow producers of Budapest Carla Under Water and Stephan Olbricht on the German cassette label Sicsic Tapes : lofi ambient productions inspired by minimal contemporary music, but still the keyboards are not ashamed to be also under chill-out music, deep and trancey. His first proper album “Tropic Daze” will be also on cassette on the Belgian label Jj funhouse. This time it’s more proper analogue experimental acid music, intimate and relaxing, perfect for meditation.

During all these years, he has founded and co-run with Stephan Olbricht and Martin Mikolai aka Norwell, the label Farbwechsel where you could find some talented local artists such as Route 8 (whose first podcast ever was for 716), Imre Kiss, 12z, A I W A, Eril Fjord… but also the label owners under different configurations (SILF with Balint himself and Martin Mikolai, S Olbricht) or some foreign talents : the young Irish Techno producer Frank B / Sias, the Polish duo of sounds artists Bouchons d’oreilles, …)
