J’ai découvert Çaykh avec un mix dingue de chansons somaliennes datant d’avant la guerre de 1991.
Çaykh fait partie du groupe Circuit Diagram, ils n’organisent pas de soirées mais sont des chercheurs passionnés de musique exotique, dont africaine. J’ai eu envie de lui demander une sélection dans le même style. Voici le résultat. , cette “Danse du Pharaon” nous emmène dans de nombreux endroits (Afrique, Asie, Europe) mais sa cohésion est telle qu’on navigue sans à-coups.

I got in touch with Çaykh after I discovered his exceptionnal two mixes dedicated to Somalian music from before the war of 1991. Çaykh is a member of the Circuit Diagram band, they don’t run parties, but they’re genuine explorers of exotic music, mostly African. I asked him a 716 Exclusive Mix in this vein and here is the result. This “Dance of the Pharao” takes us in many places (Africa, Asia, Europe), but it’s so well built that we travel smoothly from one region to another.
