3) Heaven 17 – Temptation (Original Demo)
Alors qu’ils abandonnent Human League, leur premier projet musical, à Phil Oakey, Ian Craig & Martyn Ware s’en vont enregistrer une pléthore de démos sous le nom d’Heaven 17.
Dont ce “Temptation” froid et hypnotique et tellement supérieur à la version définitive qui sortira un an plus tard.
Just after they left Human League, their first musical project, to Phil Oakey, Ian Craig & Martyn Ware have recorded plenty of demos under the name Heaven 17. Among them there is this “Temptation” cold and hypnotic and much better than the definitive version which should be released one year later.

Sous le nom de Captain Mustard se cache le producteur et compositeur Frédéric Mercier, auteur d’excellents albums de library music. Un autre maxi assez rare sorti en 1981. Avec une face b “triple A”!!!

8) Supermax – It’s A Long Way To Reach Heaven
Il y aura bientôt une année, Kurt Hauenstein s’en est allé. Laissant derrière lui, sous le nom de Supermax, une oeuvre exemplaire. Ici, en 1979, avec Precious Wilson.

9) Aphrodite Childs – Aegian Sea
La puissance évocatrice du Vangelis de cette période. Avec en bonus: guitare planante et voix ralentie. Magique!

10) Riz Ortolani – Crucified Woman
J’aurais pu terminer cette sélection par un morceau de Morricone. La liste est longue. Les possibilités infinies. Mais, il y a aussi le grand Riz Ortolani et ce splendide soundtrack pour le film “Cannibal Holocaust”. Plus que discutable au niveau cinématographique. La musique est, quant à elle, une pure merveille. Classique!
I could haved finished this playlist by a track from Morricone, the list is endless, the possibilities infinite. There is also the great Riz Ortolani and this splendid soundtrack of the movie “Cannibal Holocaust”. The movie is not good, but the music is marvellous.
