Adrian Mancuso, originally from Melbourne, Australia, lives in Krakow and runs the cool house parties there named Dubniki alongside with his friend Bartłomiej Baran and Leona Jacewska.

I asked him what would be his favourite tips in Krakow :

1) Watch the sun set or rise from FORUM PRZESTRZENIE
Marii Konopnickiej 28
30-302 Cracovie
Ph : +48 888 715 905
website

A dilapidated and defunct hotel is one of the coolest buildings in KRK and home to one of Krakow’s greatest views. A great place to end up at 5 am when other parties may have died down. The deck chairs are excellent to take naps in.

2) Eat sushi at YOUMIKO
Szczepańska 7
Kraków
Ph : +48 12 421 26 99
website

Hidden away near Plac Szczpanski is the reasonably priced and always fresh Youmiko. There’s only enough room for a dozen or so patrons but you get to watch the chef make everything fresh. Not particularly Polish but you can’t bring a date to go eat Zapiekanki anyway.

3) Go to a DUBNIKI Party
website

A proper party in Krakow is unlike anywhere else. The dancefloor is used for dancing, the bar is used for drinking and the crowd is educated and uncynical. I may be biased as I help run the Dubniki nights but they’re labours of love, (definitely not profit).

4) Drink, drink, drink

Bomba, Bunkier Sztuki, Święta Krowa, Alchemia, Miejscie. Krakow is filled with places to drink and people to drink with. Take advantage of it.

5) Geek out at HEX
Dwernickiego 5
31-530 Krakow
website

Give your leg muscles and liver a rest and spend a few hours playing board games at HEX. From Eurobusiness (a Polish Monopoly rip-off) to 8 hour space epics, all games are free and the drinks are well priced.

A question? A reaction? We'd love to hear your feedback!
