It’s the good fine dining restaurant in Jelgava, open since 2009 by chef Andris Rumitis.
The place is a bit off putting at first, both cozy and kitsch, but in the end, you feel comfortable there.
A young, and friendly staff :). You could hear they were enjoying themselves in the kitchen.
Main
I was invited by the tourism office and the team, knowing who I was, prepared a pork specialty: marinated pork, baked in the oven, the served with a caramelized sauerkraut, vegetables, and sauteed roots (9.50 euros)
Dessert
Vanilla mousse with meringue, and a raspberry sorbet (3,50 euros)
I don’t remember what I thought about the wine, apparently not very much, I’m sorry.
Yes, it’s worth it, a restaurant that isn’t pretentious, with a young chef holding the reins, and bringing his staff forward
