Orde Meikle explained in an interview on FAC51 that at the time he used to cover labels up on his vinyles so he can’t recognize himslef all the records he has played in this mix.

“Another thing that made putting the mix together tricky was back then was we used to cover the labels up so people couldn’t see what you were playing. When I was DJing some of the stuff in the studio I didn’t even know what it was called and couldn’t remember what the name of the bloody record was! It didn’t really matter though because no one else knew either! I used to have centre stickers to whack over the labels so no one could see what it was, everyone used to do it!”
