Excellent sandwiches, unfortunately served a little bit fast at lunch, so we don’t feel as much as ease like we’d want to be in front of such a quality product. It stays a 716 spot because it’s not like the other sandwich places that you usually see around, and because it’s located near Nation, an area that still has a lot of room left to grow food-wise.

It’s a meat shop that exists since 1970, so I’m very late to the game; however it seems that it hasn’t been that long since they started making sandwiches, but I’m not 100% sure. In any case I’m surprised I haven’t heard about it sooner. Bruno Verjus has talked about it , as did Yelp . Their specialties are their grilled meats. There are also empanadas, pizzas, burgers, and sandwiches.

For my 5.90 euro pastrami sandwich, I completely followed the boss’ advice on the seasoning, and I’m glad that I did.                         It was delicious. The baguette is good, the meat as well, the sauces inside are well proportioned .                                                              Even if the butter didn’t seem to be of the best brand, we don’t care because the entirety of the sandwich stays together, and that’s  all we ask from a sandwich: to have a well put-together story, not to know if each part of it comes from a known place, because in no way does that guarantee a success.                                                                                                                                                                                      With drink 7.20 euros.

I’ve only been there once, so my judgement may be flawed.                                                                                                                                     However, I do believe that the organization of the place can be improved, as the greeting for those that choose to say and eat. That being said, the sandwiches are excellent and the spirit, authentic. We’ll see what the future reserves.
