- Le résumé -

So this? I’m even surprising myself by writing about it, how many times did I go by without ever wanting to go inside? And then a friend tells me we’re meeting there because he goes there when he works in the area, and I discover a very good deal for the price, even if it’s not a high end cuisine.

- Lieu -

It exists since 2005. From the outside it looks like a tourist place, with its plastic plates etc. However, the inside is actually nice, there’s space for everyone, even though there are lots of people, and you’re not eating at a frantic speed, it’s pretty calm.

- L'équipe -

The lady that’s managing has a pretty atypical look, 2 thin pigtails at the back, she seems unapproachable, but it was ok in the end. Everything comes fast, the young waitress is nice, not bad, efficient let’s say.

- Le repas -

I couldn’t believe my eyes, I was watching my friend eat his assortment of makis, I asked: “so is it good?” 🙂                                             So I took the same thing, a Makimono menu at for 12 euros.                                                                                                                                        Soup and salad.

The rice is at the right temperature, warm, the makis are fresh, there’s even too many.                                                                                        In any case, it’s totally worth it for 12 euros.

- Le bilan -

It’s not high end in any sense of the word, but if I’m mentioning it it’s because it was far from being bad. I wouldn’t make a reservation here for an important dinner or even a lunch with a foodie friend, but if I’m passing through the Palais Royal area, and I need to get a quick bite to fill me up, somewhere inexpensive and far from the busy Sainte Anne street at lunchtime, then I would seriously consider this Edokko option.

A question? A reaction? We'd love to hear your feedback!
