A bistrot that makes you happy: it’s super good, the prices are perfect, and it’s worth it. The customer service could be worked on a tiny bit more, even if they were very accommodating in all of our requests, and told us themselves that it was the rush. In any case, if all the bistrots were like this one, it would be our pleasure to go more often! 🙂
I discovered this place thanks to a column by Mr. Saccani in La Parisienne, it pays to pick up the leftover papers at the bakery it seems. It’s small, but with a warmhearted atmosphere, and we’re seated comfortably. The interior design works well. The bathrooms are nice. Even the organization of the kitchen is all common sense, efficient. The crowd is very 17th district, but since I don’t like generalizations, I wont do it here, especially since the clientele that day wasn’t “hey look at me” but rather were playing their roles well, as happy bistrot goers.
You can tell on the phone that they’re in a hurry because they’re busy, but at the same time, they are listening and paying attention, no problem. I had asked for a quiet table if possible, we got it and it was perfect for what we asked for. Thank you! For service, I realize that we arrived later than planned and had to leave pretty fast, so there again, I am grateful that they took our order in a timely manner. The bill took more time, but oh well. We were there during a pretty big rush, and so there was minimum contact with the server, and service was prompt; lets hope that coming another night, it would be calmer and therefore with a warmer service.

Already the salads were copious and appetizing at 10,50, I say three times yes, a salad isn’t meant to be 14 euros, but 10. All the mains on the menu are between 12 and 14, the appetizers between 4,50 and 8.
Appetizers Leeks in vinaigrette, mimosa eggs We asked to share, no problem Delicious! My god, not too cold, tender, perfect amount of vinaigrette, mimosa flakes crunched wonderfully. When a bistrot plate actually works, shit is it ever good!!!

Same thing, a real cheeseburger: good rare meat, excellent bread, impeccable house fries. 10/10
Fusilli Fattacini
La personne qui les a prises a voulu me les faire goûter dès sa première fourchetée avalée tellement elle les trouvait bonnes.
C’est vrai que même si l’on n’est pas dans le registre de la pâte italienne classique, on est clairement dans celui de l’assiette de pâtes gourmande et réussie, à 12 euros, y a vraiment pas de carotte!
The person who took it immediately wanted me to try it it was so good. It’s true that we’re not in the classic Italian pasta area, but we certainly are in the area of salivating successful pasta at 12 euros!
An exhilarating lunch. To keep an eye on it for later: for the atmosphere at night and if service can take it’s time a bit more.
But really, with this first visit, I give it a 14-16/20 for a highly respected bistrot spirit. Feels good!!!
