Trusis means rabbit on Latvian so it’s logical to see one on the frontside, logical, no?
The food is not amazing but it is still a nice place : the decoration is cosy, food is fresh and there is a good atmosphere.
And it’s central.
I was there during a very quick stop in Riga in june 2014, one of the worst June ever in history, it was raining non stop. There was torrential rain that day so I came here to warm myself up before taking my plane back to Paris.
The friend who recommended me this place had participated in the decoration of the place, and it’s quite nice.
It depended of the persons but the team was quite chilly that day, but friendly.
There was nothing in the menu that especially appealed to me so I choosed a sandwich tomatoes – mozzarella – pesto : it did the job that consisted in filling me before the flight with something slightly organic but it was missing to be properly delicious. It is a shame cause the bread was awesome, maybe some extra good olive oil.
It’s still a good tip cause it’s not too snobbish, so not too expensive, and located in a district that I like.
