716 Playlists – Dj Kaos (Jolly Jams) Playlist

Devine qui est de retour? Dj Kaos!, qui avait déjà réalisé mix pour 716. Le voici désormais avec une 716 Playlist de morceaux qui tuent et qu’il adore. Je le voyais régulièrement poster des morceaux de tous genres sur facebook et je me suis dit qu’il serait l’invité parfait pour une 716 Playlist.
Dj Kaos sort bientôt un maxi sur son propre label Jolly Jams, le 6ème morceau de la sélection.

Guess who’s back? It’s Dj Kaos who has already released a  dope 716 Mix. Here comes his 716 Playlist of killer tracks he’s been looking for ages. I was looking at his numbered music posts on facebook and I thought he would be the perfect guest for a 716 Playlist.
Dj Kaos will release soon a new 12” on his own label Jolly Jams, it is the 6th track of this selection.

1) Jimi Hendrix – Third Stone From The Sun
Un morceau que j’écoute lorsque je rentre à la maison après un long week-end de gigs.
It’s a song I listen to when I come back home after a long weekend of gigs.

2) Pharoah Sanders – Kazuko
Juste un morceau qui défonce de Pharaoah Sanders ! La vidéo est mortelle… Quand je la regarde, je commence à rêver à la Californie, à San Francisco, j’y ai été de nombreuses fois et je trouve ça tout simplement magnifique.

3) Manuel Göttsching – Halensee
Manuel Göttsching Ashra Tapes, un enregistrement rare de mon ami… il s’agit d’un lac à côté de chez moi appelé “Halensee” qui est très spécial pour moi, c’est là que j’ai grandi et que je vis encore aujourd’hui.

5) The Doors – Indian Summer
“Indian Summer” des Doors cela m’évoque New York. L’été indien est le moment de l’année auquel je préfère aller à New York, j’adore. C’est la meilleure période pour croquer la pomme.

7) Alfredo De La Fé – My Favorite Things
J’ai entendu cette chanson pour la 1ère fois au Loft à NYC, Mancuo la jouait, un grand moment, musique incroyable.
It is a song I have heard for the first time at the Loft NYC. Mancuso played it …. great moment …. amazing music.

8) Van Morrison – Astral Weeks
Mes parents avaient l’habitude d’écouter cet album énormément. J’ai vraiment eu de la chance, mes parents avaient un très bon goût musical et ils m’emmenaient toujours à des concerts de groupes tels que Led Zep, les Stones, etc… Je suis heureux d’être né à cette époque-là, c’est dans mes gènes.

lucky me … my parents had great taste of music. And they always took me to concerts to see bands like Led Zep, Stones etc. I am happy that I was born around the time …. it’s in the blood.

9) Kraftwerk – Franz Schubert 
Une énorme source d’inspiration pour moi. Ces 2 robots sont des génies absolus.
Big inspiration to me Kraftwerk. Absolute Genius these 3 Robots.

10) Miroslav Vitous – New York City
Un autre titre que j’ai entendu au Loft à New York. Un classique de Mancuso qui te donne le frisson ultime de New York.
Another jam I had heard at the Loft in NYC.
