1) Sampha -Without
Premier extrait du prochain EP (“Dual”) de l’anglais Sampha (notamment remarqué aux côtés de SBTRKT ou de Jessie Ware), EP dont la sortie est prévue chez Young Turks à la fin du mois de juillet.
La grande classe.

This is the 1st single release of the next EP (“Dual”) from the English Sampha (known for his work with SBTRKT or Jessie Ware).  It will be released end of July 2013 on Young Turks. Super classy.

2) S.O.H.N. – Bloodflows
Nouvelle petite merveille de l’anglais S.O.H.N., après “Oscillate”, “Warning”, son très bon “The Wheel Ep” et ses remixes plus que convaincants pour Laura Mvula ou la californienne Banks.
Ce “Bloodflows” est sorti en juin, et on le retrouvera sur le premier album de S.O.H.N. attendu chez 4AD à la rentrée.

3) Ifan Daffyd Feat. Alys Williams – Celwydd
On avait découvert ce producteur gallois avec un bootleg d’Amy Winehouse (“No good” et son titre “Miranda” sur la face B) puis un excellent (et improbable) remix pour Emeli Sandé (“Naughty boy”). Ce “Celwydd” sorti sur le label gallois Recordiau Lliwgar sur lequel il invite la chanteuse Alys Williams est simplement magnifique.

First time we heard about this Welsh producer was with his bootleg of Amy Winehouse (“No good” and his track “Miranda” on side B) then with an excellent (and unlikely) remix for Emeli Sandé (“Naughty boy”). This “Celwydd” released on the Welsh label Recordiau Lliwgar and with the singer Alys Williams is simply beautiful.

4) Mind Enterprises – My Girl
“My Girl” est la première sortie de cet italien installé en Angleterre, dont le EP est attendu mi-juillet chez Because. Jetez dès la sortie du disque sur les titres “Morning Lie” et surtout “New Underground”.

“My Girl”is the first release of this Italian producer living in England, his first EP will be out mi-july on Because.   Don’t miss the tracks “Morning Lie” and even more “New Underground”.

5) Rhye – Open (Ryan Hemsworth Remix)
Le premier EP de Rhye a été une des douceurs de l’été dernier. L’album est charmant. Et ce remix signé Ryan Hemsworth fait carrément le boulot. “Open” a également été joliment remixé par S.O.H.N.

The first EP of Rhye was one of the highlights of last summer (2012). The album is lovely. And this remix by Ryan Hemswort is perfect. “Open” has also been nicely remixed by S.O.H.N.

6) AlunaGeorge – Attracting Flies (Shift K3Y Remix)
Remix typiquement anglais du duo Londonien AlunaGeorge par Shift K3Y, de la UK Bass Music de qualité, entre UK Funky, UK Garage & 2 Step.

7) Trimbal – Confidence Boost (Harmonimix)
Celui-là date un peu (février 2012), mais il est tellement fort… James Blake et le MC Trim associés pour 4 minutes de folie. Massif.

This one is older (february 2012) but extremely good… James Blake and MC Trim together for 4 minutes of crazyness. Massive.

8) Jai Paul – Str8 Outta Mumbai
Un petit Jai Paul car il serait vraiment difficile de faire sans lui. Après “BTSTU” et “Jasmine”, on a attendu un EP qui n’est jamais sorti, EP sur lequel aurait du figurer ce “Str8 Outta Mumbai”. Pareil pour l’album. Au-delà des rumeurs, il nous reste donc quelques productions incroyables du talentueux Jai Paul, dont on espère avoir des nouvelles au plus vite.

A track from Jai Paul because it would be difficult to do a playlist without him. After “BTSTU” and “Jasmine”, we have waited for an EP that finally never came out, “Str8 Outta Mumbai” was supposed to be on it. Beyond rumours, we still have some amazing productions from the talented Jai Paul and we hope to have some news from him very soon.

9) Koreless – Sun
Planant, profond, envoutant… C’est le “Sun” de Koreless, exrait de son nouvel EP, “Yugen”, sorti en mai dernier chez Young Turks.

Trippy, deep, haunting… That’s the “Sun” from Koreless, from his new EP, “YYugen”, released last may on Young Turks.

10) Flume – Holdin on
Extrait du premier album de l’australien Flume sorti l’hiver dernier chez Future Classic. Funky, soul & addictif.

First album of the Australian Flume released last winter on Future Classic. Funky, soul & addictive. 

11) Airhead – Autumn
Un moment de douceur avec Airhead, ami et guitariste de James Blake pour ses tournées. C’est extrait de son premier album, “For Years”, sorti en juin dernier chez R&S.

Some sweetness with Airhead, friend and guitarist of James Blake during his tours. This song is on his 1st album “For Years” released last june on R&S.

12) Mount Kimbie – Made to stray
Extrait du deuxième album de Mount Kimbie (“Cold Spring Fault Less Youth”) sorti il y a quelques semaines chez Warp. Housey, hypnotique et froidement Funky.

The 2nd single release of the Mount Kimbie‘s album (“Cold Spring Fault Less Youth”) that came out a couple of weeks ago on Warp. Housey, hypnotic and terribly funky.
